Portlet

The "Portlet" feature allows users to create and customize various types of data visualization widgets within the system. This user manual provides instructions on how to effectively use this feature:

  1. Accessing the Portlet Feature:

    • Log in to the system using your credentials.

    • Navigate to the appropriate section or module where portlet-related features are accessible.

    • Look for an option labeled "Portlet" or similar, and click on it to access the portlet management interface.

  2. Viewing Existing Portlets:

    • Upon accessing the "Portlet" interface, users will see a list of existing portlets along with their details.

    • Each portlet entry displays information such as the name, description, portlet view, data URL, portlet type, portlet HTML, portlet X-axis, portlet Y-axis, portlet series, config, CSS class, portlet icon, and portlet subtype.

    • Users can browse through the list to view all available portlets and their respective details.

  3. Searching for Portlets:

    • If there are numerous portlets in the system, users can utilize the search functionality to find specific portlets quickly.

    • Enter relevant keywords or criteria in the search bar to filter the portlets based on the entered parameters.

    • Click on the "SEARCH" button to execute the search and display the filtered results.

  4. Resetting Search Filters:

    • To clear any applied search filters and reset the portlet list to its default state, click on the "RESET" button.

  5. Adding New Portlets:

    • If users need to add a new portlet to the system, they can click on the "ADD" button.

    • This action will open the "Portlet Add" interface, where users can input details such as the name, description, portlet view, data URL, portlet type, portlet HTML, portlet X-axis, portlet Y-axis, portlet series, config, CSS class, portlet icon, and portlet subtype.

    • After entering the required information, users can click on the "SAVE" button to add the new portlet.

  6. Editing Existing Portlets:

    • Users can edit the details of existing portlets by clicking on the "Edit" button next to the respective portlet entry.

    • This action opens the "Portlet Edit" interface, where users can modify the portlet details as needed.

    • After making the necessary changes, users can click on the "SAVE" button to update the portlet.

  7. Deleting Portlets:

    • To remove a portlet from the system, users can click on the "Delete" button next to the respective portlet entry.

    • A confirmation prompt may appear to confirm the deletion. Proceed accordingly based on the user's intent.

By following these instructions, users can effectively create and manage data visualization widgets within the system using the "Portlet" feature.
