Board Portlet

The "Board Portlet" feature enables users to manage and arrange various dashboard widgets or portlets for a customizable dashboard view. Below are instructions on how to effectively use this feature:

  1. Accessing the Board Portlet Feature:

    • Log in to the system using your credentials.

    • Navigate to the dashboard or admin panel where the board portlet management interface is accessible.

  2. Viewing Existing Board Portlets:

    • Upon accessing the "Board Portlet" interface, users will see a list of existing board portlets along with their details.

    • Each board portlet entry displays information such as the dashboard user, dash portlet, X-position, Y-position, column bay, row span, group name, and inactive status.

    • Users can browse through the list to view all available board portlets and their respective details.

  3. Searching for Board Portlets:

    • Users can utilize the search functionality to find specific board portlets quickly, especially if there are numerous portlets in the system.

    • Enter relevant keywords or criteria in the search bar to filter the portlets based on the entered parameters.

    • Click on the "SEARCH" button to execute the search and display the filtered results.

  4. Resetting Search Filters:

    • To clear any applied search filters and reset the board portlet list to its default state, click on the "RESET" button.

  5. Adding New Board Portlets:

    • If users need to add a new board portlet to the dashboard, they can click on the "ADD" button.

    • This action will open the "Board Portlet Add" interface, where users can input details such as the dashboard user, dash portlet, X-position, Y-position, column bay, row span, group name, and inactive status.

    • After entering the required information, users can click on the "SAVE" button to add the new board portlet.

  6. Editing Existing Board Portlets:

    • Users can edit the details of existing board portlets by clicking on the "Edit" button next to the respective portlet entry.

    • This action opens the "Board Portlet Edit" interface, where users can modify the portlet details as needed.

    • After making the necessary changes, users can click on the "SAVE" button to update the board portlet.

  7. Deleting Board Portlets:

    • To remove a board portlet from the dashboard, users can click on the "Delete" button next to the respective portlet entry.

    • A confirmation prompt may appear to confirm the deletion. Proceed accordingly based on the user's intent.
