Scope Group
The Scope Group Management feature provides administrators with the ability to organize and configure scope groups within the system. Scope groups are used to define the scope or range of access permissions for users or roles. Below is a detailed guide on how to effectively utilize this functionality:

Accessing Scope Group Management:
Log in to the system with administrative privileges.
Navigate to the Scope Group Management section within the system interface.
Understanding Scope Group Fields:
Description: Provides a brief explanation or summary of the purpose and scope of the scope group.
Ranking: An optional parameter that determines the priority or precedence of the scope group in relation to other groups.
Inactive: Indicates whether the scope group is currently active or inactive.
Searching and Filtering:
Utilize the search and filter options to quickly locate specific scope groups based on their descriptions or other attributes.
Narrow down the results by specifying criteria such as active/inactive status or ranking.
Adding a New Scope Group:
Click on the "ADD" button to create a new scope group.
Enter a unique description for the new group, providing clear and concise information about its scope.
Optionally, assign a ranking to prioritize the group among others, if necessary.
Ensure the group is set to active unless you intend to deactivate it.
Editing Existing Scope Groups:
Locate the scope group you wish to edit from the list.
Click on the "Edit" option corresponding to the group.
Update the description, ranking, or other details as required.
Save the changes once you have finished editing.
Activating or Deactivating Scope Groups:
Toggle the "Inactive" option to activate or deactivate a scope group.
Deactivating a group may temporarily restrict its usage for defining access permissions.
Best Practices:
Regularly review and update scope groups to ensure they accurately reflect the scope of access permissions required for different roles or user groups.
Document the purpose and scope of each scope group to facilitate understanding and administration.
By following these steps and best practices, administrators can effectively manage scope groups, ensuring that access permissions are defined and maintained according to organizational requirements and security policies.
